 CREEK STEAM AND HERITAGE SOCIETY currently has over 1km of track and full 
 rail safety accreditation under the Tasmanian Government’s Rail Safety Act
  to operate our heritage railway. Our steam train is hauled by a 1906 Krau
 ss 610mm gauge loco and consists of Tasmanian heritage coaches – a hundred
  years old and still going strong!</p>\n<p>While there you can also see so

 Red and yellow design. Several of the passenger carriages are built on bog
 ie flat wagons built in the 1890s and some of the earliest bogie wagons in
  Australia.</p>\n<p>At the Lune River Station\, in Far South Tasmania\, yo
 u can still see relics of the limestone carrying days in the form of wagon
 s and machinery.</p>\n<p>The railway line itself is over 7 kms long so ple
