Steam Train Rides Special schedule!

<p>First full weekend of each month, steam train rides are available from the restored Sheffield Railway Station at Sheffield. REDWATER CREEK STEAM AND HERITAGE SOCIETY currently has over 1km of track and full rail safety accreditation under the Tasmanian Government’s Rail Safety Act to operate our heritage railway. Our steam train is hauled by a 1906 Krauss 610mm gauge loco and consists of Tasmanian heritage coaches – a hundred years old and still going strong!</p> <h5><span style='color: #339966'>As a special on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd April, we are running the train on the same schedule. if you are in Sheffield to see the Murals, or to visit Taste of the North West do come visit us and ride the steam train</span>!</h5> <p>While there you can also see some of our other steam machinery working, and enjoy some real coffee and hot chocolate in the updated station cafe!
